Amy's Wedding

These are some of the pictures of the first wedding I shot.  Amy is a friend of a friend.  She is very sweet and looked like an angel on her special day.  She was kind enough to let me be the second photographer.  I'll post more pictures later.

Alexis' VIP Shoot after the Game

I put together a slideshow of Alexis' soccer game and posed pictures below for a mother's day gift.

Alexis' Soccer Shoot

This was the first soccer game that I've photographed.  It was very interesting, not use to having the subject move around so much! But it was a great experience.  Alexis played an awesome game. Good Job! (She is the one in the red shorts below)

My Handsome Husband

Troy has been so supportive with my photography.  He was sweet enough to help me out with two of my assignments.  The first one is a male portrait that had to give you a feel for who the person is.  Since Troy loves the outdoors and playing the guitar, I found this setting to be perfect for him.

This one is a pet portrait.  We were cat sitting Shadow so we took him out for a walk.

Couple Portrait: The Spendloves

Meet Callie and Jon.  I've known Callie for a few years now and we were forced to become best friends since our husbands were best friends!  She believes in me and gives me that extra push. Thanks for all your support, I love you!

What a cute couple! I was very nervous at first since I had never shot a couple before, but they made it super fun since they're soooooo in LOVE!

My First Female Outdoor Portraits

My First Outdoor Shoot

This was my first shoot with new DSLR camera.  I photographed my friend Jodi's kids. Meet Zander: your average kid, cute, energetic, and so adorable.

Panoramic shot of my backyard!

For those of you who know where I live, know that I don't have a backyard.  But if you drive up a few blocks, this is what you see.

Welcome to the 40s!

This was a Theme assignment so I had to dress up as though I lived in a different time and age.  And I happen to love the 40s, lets just say one of my favorite movies is The Notebook.  So I tried my best and this is what I came up with.

Magazine Cover

I created this magazine cover for one of my classes. I also shot the picture of the bride. The whole thing was alot of fun!

Duotone Shot in Studio

Meet my friend Alex and her baby Sam. We were doing some shots of him at the studio and he started crying so she picked him up.  And luckily I was able to get this picture.

My First Studio Shoot

I shot a picture of my friend Jessica and her cute baby Landon.  It was the first time in the studio, but we had a good time.  And a special thanks Kennedy for letting me borrow some of her props. :)

Infrared Pictures

This was one of my favorite assignments because I was able to see the world through a new set of eyes. I put an infrared filter (Hoya R72) on my camera lens and it turns the pictures red, white, and black. I did some editing and added some color back into the pictures. My friend Kennedy and I went out to Floyd Lamb Park and shot this assignment. We had tons of fun!

Different Compositional Elements

I also carried around a doll for this assignment. I got a few weird looks while I was at the park. And my pictures did scare my teacher, I guess he doesn't care much for dolls.
