Here is the exciting news...

I told you about. Meet the newest member of our little family. I know what you must be thinking- "Isn't Wendhy a dog person?" I am, but our friend's cat had kittens and this little guy was soo playful and fun when I met him that he ended up coming home with us.

So I did it, I crossed over to the dark side! I have a little kitty. But don't get me wrong, I LOVE dogs! Our house is just too small.

Lars is a little daredevil, he has been jumping off of stuff and getting like 8-9 ft of air. He is such a cute kitty. Just thought I would share.

Plus, I decided that its hard enough for me to blog here that I decided to turn this into my personal/photo blog. Well here is what I got after having a 5 minute photo session with Lars (he doesn't like having his picture taken...)

The cutest sisterly love I've...-Las Vegas Child Photographer

ever seen. I love capturing the love between siblings. Desiree and Abigail were as cute as a button. They remind me of when I use to get along with my sisters when we were little and we would play school....then we went through the "stop borrowing my clothes" stage when I was in high school...and once you grow up you go back to getting along again. Good Times! Anyone have any good/funny sibling stories?

There is something cool about Desiree, she is this year's Little Miss Nevada.

Big beautiful eyes... - Las Vegas Child Photographer

Camille was a wild one to photograph. She kept running away from me and her mom. She just wanted to do her own thing.....far, far, away from us. So I had to be patient and wait for her to be ready for me. I ended up making stories about princesses that happened to live in the area we were at and that seemed to help. We got her to stay in one area (for the most part) and just had a blast as I pressed the shutter. I was able to capture some really sweet smiles. Thanks.

Amazing beauty.... -Las Vegas Model Photographer

Meet Shannon. We did an outdoor and studio shoot to put together a complete model's portfolio for one of my photography classes. My friends think I am crazy because I am always in school but CSN always comes out with more interesting photography classes so I just have to take them. In order for a model to have a complete portfolio that shows variety he/she needs to be photographed indoors and outdoors and has to showcase the different personalities he/she can become. Shannon did a great job bringing out all these different personalities. Plus, she is so beautiful and fun to be around. My professor said that she should be a Maybelline model with those beautiful eyes of hers. I had the hardest time choosing my favorite photos because she looks gorgeous in all of them. But here are a few of the ones that really showcase what a model's portfolio should consist of.

TIP FOR MODELS IN LAS VEGAS: Being a model in Las Vegas is very competitive right now. You need to make sure that you have a wide range of photos in your portfolio so that the agencies can immediately picture what roles you can fulfill. In order to showcase your beauty make sure that you find a qualified model photographer in Las Vegas. If the photos are correctly exposed and processed then the attention goes immediately to you, the model.

Hope you loved the photos. I can't wait to photograph more models, I love the whole fashion aspect of it. I used to wanna be a fashion designer back in the day, which is why I really appreciate fashion.

My MOM is getting married! - Las Vegas Wedding Photographer

That's right, my cute little mom is getting married to a wonderful and amazing guy! They are having a super simple ceremony and get together. She isn't really going to have a wedding dress so I let her borrow mine. Doesn't she look cute in it! My mom has NEVER smiled like that before. It was a great experience being able to see TRUE LOVE right before my eyes. I just took these two days ago so I haven't really had time to work on them, but here is one for now.
