I ♥ Faces (Contemplative & Pet Challenge)

So I found this really cool photo site through one of my friend's blog called I ♥ Faces. They have weekly contests with different themes, so I thought this would be a great thing to do to keep me on my toes. This weeks challenge was:

CONTEMPLATIVE: thoughtful observation; full or deep consideration; dreamily or wistfully thoughtful: a pensive mood; expressing or revealing thoughtfulness; quiet modes of apparent or real thought; can be marked by some sadness, but doesn't have to be.

And I immediately thought of this photo. Its one that I took when I was first starting out. This little girl is shy and I just loved her expression.

PETS: I loved this little guy! Pets are just too cute, they seriously have their own little personality just like us. I mean look at that expression! I took this photo while at Vicki Tauffer's workshop (It was a ton of fun and will have more photos from the whole trip later).

I think I had a little too much fun with this dog so I might have a Pet PROMO coming up for all you pet lovers. So if you're a pet lover and would like some art photos of your pet stay tuned to the blog.

Meet Gabe & Wendy (no "H"....weird, just kidding! I am the weird one :).

They are some of our closest friends and are soo much FUN! We were close to the dry lake so we decided to do a quick photoshoot and this is what I got (I added a texture, but the circles on the lake were already there):

First baby on the way.... (Maternity Photographer)

...for the "V" family! You can truly see the pregnant glow on mommy's face. Isn't she just beautiful! I loved taking these photos, specially the artistic semi-nudes.

Silly Baby Faces... (Las Vegas Baby Photographer)

I just LOVE photographing cute Skye. I've been doing her photos ever since she was 3 months old and only gets cutter! During our session she kept making all these cute "silly" baby faces so I just had to share...

Look at those baby teeth!

She sure is a quick learner, we got her to stand and show us some dance moves...

Its fairy time... (Las Vegas Children Photographer)

Meet little Miss Hailey, she was one of the winners for the Little Mr & Miss Nevada Pageant. She is such a cutie pie and just loved my fairy wings. We couldn't get her out of them. Here are some of my favorites...

I have to tell you the story behind the photo below. Mom wanted me to take some photos of her wearing this cute little headpiece with a black outfit that had an apron (with no wings) but Haley wanted to keep her wings on, hug her blankie, and suck on her binkie. After cropping the photo this is what I got and I just loved the expression in her eyes, so innocent, sweet, and kinda sad.

Here is Ciara's Studio Session... -(Las Vegas Senior Photographer)

You've all seen photos of Ciara's outdoor session. Here are some from the Studio session we had. She is such a cute girl! I LOVE this first one. Look at those eyes!

My little cutie pie... -Las Vegas Children Photographer

...BRYN! This is one of my nieces and I just ADORE her! Not only is she a sweetheart, and loving little girl, she is also beautiful! I only hope that when I have kids some day they look as cute as her.

I took these photos not too long ago while I was up in Utah visiting my nieces. I had planned to do a shoot of my nieces while I was there but something always kept coming up. We were up there for Londyn's (my other niece) first year birthday party. Right before the party started I was hanging out with Bryn. She was dressed in her cute little fairy wings and skirt, so I decided to grab my camera and follow her around. We probably walked around my sister in laws house for about 15 minutes and I ended up with some really cute photos of her. Good thing I don't have kids yet or they would be photographed all the time.

Well here are some of my favorite photos of Bryn......just look at those BIG BEAUTIFUL EYES!
