Night Photography

This class was so much fun! I took it over the summer with my buddies Kennedy and Ashleigh, and we had a blast. These were my favorite, enjoy....
These two pictures are startrails. Kennedy was kind enough to invite Ashleigh and me to her cabin up by Cedar, UT. We pretty much had a slumber party and experimented with our cameras. The above picture was taken at night and is a 21 minute exposure (which means the camera was left open for 21 minutes to capture the picture), the below picture is 2 hours! (but look how cool the rotation of the stars look!)
This one was citylife in Vegas down by the fremont experience.
This one is a moonlight landscape. I took a picture of the moon separately and then added it in to the picture.
This was taken at night, I think I left the shutter open for a few minutes to capture the clouds moving in front of the moon.
This was another cool assignment, its called painting with light. We took some flashlights and covered them with color gels and started painting the scene.

These are some cityscapes, the first two were taken from the Sahara's Casino parking lot. The third one is right behind the strip.

Lightning! I was lucky enough to get one good picture. Not the greatest but I like it!
